License models
Currently Publi PDF can be licensed in 4 different ways:
With all licensing models follows 6 months free maintenance and free e-mail support. After expiration of this 6 months period a maintenance plan with free upgrades and full e-mail support can be established for an annual fee of currently 18% of the purchased license price.
Publi PDF cannot at this time be licensed without the Optimizer and Stamper plug-ins, i.e. these are currently always included.
Publi PDF Single User Edition
This edition is primarily targeted against front-end users that want to use Publi PDF with attended queues, i.e. in environments where the automation provided is able to prompt the user for input.
This edition also include the Windows NT Service component and can actually run unattended queues as well, but unattended queues will stop responding if the monitored queues are shared across the network.
Each Single User license is priced EUR 700 / USD 850 (in Denmark DKK 5.250 + moms).
This edition requires on-line activation.
Publi PDF Single Server Edition
This edition is targeted against user groups that need full automation run on a server platform. The Single Server Edition comes with 5 Single User licenses and will - when installed on a server - provide monitoring capabilities for ANY user that connect to unattended server queues.
Each Single Server license is priced EUR 2600 /USD 3150 (in Denmark DKK 19.500 + moms), incl. 1 Server license and 5 workstation licenses.
This edition requires on-line activation.
Publi PDF Multiple Server Edition
This edition is targeted against larger user groups that needs full automation run on server platforms in environments where a single server may run out of horse-power. The Multiple Server Edition comes with 5 Single User licenses per Server License and will - when installed on servers - provide monitoring capabilities for ANY user that connect to unattended server queues.
Pricing for this edition is settled in the individual case.
This edition requires on-line activation.
Publi PDF Corporate Edition
This edition is targeted against large environments where deployment to multiple servers and workstations is required to be simple, typically environments with hundreds or thousands of users. The license comes with unlimited use both on servers and workstations, and a special, deployment-friendly installer package that can be customized in any way.
Pricing for this edition is settled in the individual case.
This edition does NOT require on-line activation, but may NOT be used on any employee's home PC's. To protect the licensee against the adverse effects of piracy a suitable number of Single User licenses (which require on-line activation) is supplied with a Corporate license without any extra cost.
